Abstract
KGaA, Weinheim. An efficient, palladium-catalyzed, direct phenylselenylation of arenes and heteroarenes in water by using N-(phenylseleno)phthalimide (N-PSP) as the coupling partner is reported. A variety of diaryl selenides with high functional group tolerance have been obtained in good to excellent yields and regioselectivity.
