Abstract

The Effective thermal expansion and pyroelectric constants of 2D cracked piezoelectric materials are obtained through use of the extended Stroh formalism and analytical solution of a crack embedded in a 2D thermopiezoelectric sheet. In the analysis, the self-consistent and Mori-Tanaka methods are used to take account of weakening effect among cracks.
