Abstract

In this study, works were carried out to develop a photocatalytic oxidation system using RuO2electrolytic and TiO2photocatalytic systems for a swimming pool water disinfection system. Chlorine will be used in this disinfection system. Thus, the objective of this study is to evaluate the formation and the disinfection efficiency of the free chlorine, generated by the photocatalytic oxidation system under different chloride concentrations, electric potentials, and the contents of organic substances.
