Abstract

The dynamic model of cable-stayed bridge-vehicle interaction system under turbulent wind is established in this paper, the buffeting force and self-excited force on bridge, the steady force and unsteady force on vehicle are generalized by measured quasi-steady aerodynamic force coefficients and frequency independent coefficients of rational functions. As a case, the passage of trains through a cable-stayed bridge is simulated. The dynamic characteristic of long span cable-stayed bridge and the running safety of trains under turbulent wind are analyzed.
