Abstract
Dynamic constrained optimal power flow can be modeled as a semi-infinite programming problem. In this letter, a local reduction based on infinite norm is proposed to replace the infinite constraints with finite constraints. The equivalent problem is then solved by the standard finite programming method. A case study on the WSCC nine-bus system showed that the proposed model and approach is practical and effective.
