Abstract

A mathematical model is developed to simulate the dispersion of carbon monoxide from a vehicular tunnel with the exit located near a hill under the action of wind. This model is achieved by solving the system of recirculation flow equations using a "k-ε{lunate}" model, where k = turbulent kinetic energy and ε{lunate} = dissipation rate.
