Abstract

In this paper, chromatic dispersion (CD) monitoring and optical signal-to-noise ratio (OSNR) monitoring techniques in high-speed transmission systems are analyzed. The CD monitoring method based on optical filtering and RF spectrum analysis is demonstrated. The OSNR monitoring method based on the beat noise RF power measurement is analyzed.
