Abstract
Results from a survey of the current state of Hong Kong's textile and clothing industry are summarized. A case study of Theme International Ltd of Hong Kong is also included. Research and development inputs to the industry are discussed. Some recommendations for improvements are also given, including greater attention to design input and greater use of CAD/CAM methods.
