Abstract

The paper designs and manufactures a special measurement system for LED Precision Approach Path Indicator (PAPI) units, which is controlled by computer and can sample the beam, transfer, analyze and process the data and get result automatically. Compared with the present method, the system has advantages with high efficiency, high precision and automation, which can guarantee the accuracy of the signals produced by PAPI.
