Design and analyses of microlens arrays for IRCCD using a computer simulation program

Abstract

The image mechanism of microlens for IRCCD was analyzed theoretically. The mathematical model and design method of microlens arrays were established by using ray-tracing method. The computer simulation design for the practical device PtSi-IRCCD with 128×128 pixels was performed. The results show that adopting microlens arrays can make the filling factor of IRCCD reach 100%.
