Abstract

This paper carries on the work in Ye and Yang (2012) and considers a day-to-day evolution model of price and perceived travel time with elastic demand. We discuss the existence and uniqueness condition of a continuous evolution model, which is set up based on the discrete evolution process considering travelers' behavior, demand elasticity as well as the impact of excess credit demand on credit price. The stability and convergence of the equilibrium state under infinite time horizon is illustrated by a numerical example.
