Continuous generalized convex functions and their characterizations

Abstract

The notions of continuous (strictly) pseudoconvex functions and set-valued (strictly) pseudomonotone maps are introduced. Relations between these notions are given using an asymptotic mean value theorem. Characterizations of a continuous quasiconvex function are derived.
