Abstract

In today's modern world, simulation becomes an essential tool for providing efficient solutions to different construction problems. The use of existing simulation packages implies user-training for specific applications. Additionally, space constraints for different processes are not entirely represented, and when presented, the required computational resources are intense, especially for 3D simulation applications. More and more, the addition of space constraints to simulation packages becomes necessary, in order to accommodate the dimensions required by various resources utilized and the available space in the construction operations. Designed to take into account the space constraints, Construction Space Simulation Application (CSSA) provides a straightforward solution for the space problem. Coded using Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 and Microsoft Access, CSSA proves to be portable and easy to use.
