Abstract
The conclusion discusses the evolving Hong Kong diaspora and the transnational practices of new Hong Kong migrants. It sums up the major discussions in previous chapters, highlights foreign governments’ exceptional immigration arrangements for Hong Kong people, and argues that the post-2019 exit of Hong Kong residents is associated with policies driven by the material interests of foreign governments. It also discusses the impacts of Hong Kong migration on the destinations and on Hong Kong and proposes further research.
