abstract = "A reconfigurable robot for the assembly line is designed. A concept of combining the large octopus device used in amusement parks and assembly robotics is proposed. It is found that the octopus equipment in the amusement park can easily achieve multi-directional translation and rotation under heavy load conditions. One of the requirements for assembly lines is to use robotic devices to mount parts in a multi-axis and flexible manner under heavy load conditions. This paper proposes the design concept of a reconfigurable assembly robot.",
