Abstract

This paper investigates an analytical solution for describing the diffusion of the eddy currents and the impact of electromagnetic proximity effects among the coils in the domestic induction heating system (IHS) with distributed planar spiral multi-coils. The comparison of the proposed analytical solution and the numerical computation results indicates that the presented method can be applied expediently and effectively in the computation of eddy-current problem in multi-coils IHS.
