Composite index and calculation model for national geographical state

Abstract

The index is a quantitative indicators for state or area in a specific field or system. It is a quantitative, inherent and comprehensive evaluation index for the development stage of evaluated field or system. National geographical state, as a novel, comprehensive system, was first proposed by Chinese government. And the scientific, comprehensive and quantitative evaluation for it is very important for people to understand and evaluate the development stage of national geographical state. However, due to the research of national geographical state still remains in primary stage, and the evaluation index and system have not been proposed. Based on understanding the concepts and features of national geographical state, this paper proposes a composite index and caculation model for national geographical state elvaluation. Finally, simulated data and experiments are employed to verify the proposed index and model.
