Abstract
Combined arms are the appropriate combinations to achieve mutually complementary effects in real time strategy (RTS) game. However, there remains the difficulty of planning the sub-unit maneuver, positioning and engagement. Following several other researchers, our approach is based on the technique of potential field to provide an efficient path searching in dynamic environment and adopt the fuzzy measure and integral to indicate the interaction among the unit types. A new fuzzy integral and collaborative maneuver planning are proposed. The model explains the basic principles that must guide the combined arms in the planning and conduct the diversion and flank attack to provide maximum unit cohesion. We implement and present our techniques on real RTS game platform, Warcraft III. The result is promising in this complex environment.
