Abstract

E-commerce consolidation is a critical process especially in highly automated E-commerce distribution center (ECDC). Labor-based consolidation operation is flexible to suit different consolidation scenarios, but is easily to become the bottleneck of the whole process. The boom of IoT technology brings multiple assistive methods for optimization. However, the integration and deployment for IoT technology with high flexibility and convenience for enterprise users are practical but yet troublesome. To solve this problem, this paper proposes a cloud gateway operation system (CGOS). It is an overall cloud services including the front-line devices integration, network establishment, computing and storage resources allocation and the workflow management for consolidation operations.
