A chromatic dispersion (CD) measurement method based on photonic microwave technique, both for optical fiber and wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) components, was presented. The technique only requires low frequency scalar network analyzer, modulator and photodetector. Results showed that this method have advantages of low cost, simplicity and high accuracy.
