Abstract

Power-referenced in-fiber edge filter based on a linearly chirped and weakly tilted fiber Bragg grating is proposed. It provides a smooth transfer function with 0.7 dB/nm of discrimination over C-band for the temperature-self-compensated FBG interrogation.
