Abstract
The performance of the 2-fiber Bragg gratings time division multiplexing sensors array by using a laser source was investigated. It was found that the wavelength detection accuracy was limited by the coherent mixing between the signal wave from one channel and the leakage waves from another channel due to the limited extinction ratio of the optical pulse modulator. However, this crosstalk depends on the amplitude of the laser wavelength modulation, and can therefore be reduced by selecting particular values of the wavelength modulation amplitude.
