Chaos from a current‐programmed ćuk converter

Abstract

The chaotic dynamics of a current‐programmed Ćuk converter having no voltage feedback is studied. an iterative map that describes the operation of the circuit is derived, from which a route to chaos similar to that from a ‘tent’ map is predicted. Computer simulation based on an exact piecewise switched model confirms the predicted route to chaos.
