Abstract

Washing machine is one of the most commonly used electrical household appliances. Because of the large volume of energy and water consumption of washing machines and its huge market, the improvement of the washing ability is highly desirable and justifiable. Instead of using mechanical means, the purpose of this paper is to electrically chaoize a motor, hence resulting in a controllable chaotic motion, for application to household washing machines. Simulation results are presented to illustrate the proposed chaotic motion.
