Abstract
A procedure for the assessment of the value of apparel CAD investment in terms of the gain in information available to manufacturers and buyers is proposed. Other approaches to the evaluation of apparel CAD are also discussed. The information approach makes it easier to quantify the benefits of CAD applications.
