title = "Bond strength durability between FRP tubes and seawater sea sand concrete under sea water condition",
abstract = "Concrete-filled FRP tubes, in which a great strength and stiffness will be provided in the case of using appropriate fibre orientations may be used as structural members, such bridge piers. Moreover, using sea water and sea sand concrete (SWSSC) is recently proposed to reduce the resource shortage of fresh water and river sand and address the environmental problems due to the over-exploitation of materials used in ordinary Portland cement (OPC)-based concrete. In the present study, the durability of the bond-slip performance between FRP tubes and SWSSC under seawater environment is studied using push-out tests. Specimens are exposed to 3 months of seawater solution. Ambient and 40 °C temperatures are used to consider the effect of conditioning temperature. Glass, basalt and carbon fibre reinforced tubes were used. The bond strength performance is obtained for reference and each conditioned specimens.",
