Abstract

Chiral ketones have been developed as efficient catalysts for asymmetric alkene epoxidation in the past decades. The development of different classes of chiral ketones for asymmetric epoxidation of unfunctionalized alkenes will be discussed. In addition, studies on diastereoselective epoxidation are also covered.
