Abstract
The relationships between articulation index and some noise criteria for indoor environmental design and assessment in large air conditioned landscaped offices are discussed in the present investigation. Results show that good correlations exist between it, loudness level and the preferred speech interference level. However, the articulation index does not correlate very well with the equivalent sound pressure level and thus does not correlate with auditory sensation feeling of office workers.
