Abstract

Sentiment analysis is a critical way for determining the sentiment information included in the user-generated content (UGC), which has garnered increasing attention from scholars in a variety of fields. However, this strategy has yet to be applied in the field of sustainable manufacturing research. As such, this chapter attempts to contribute to closing this research gap. To begin, a quick introduction to sentiment analysis technique was given, followed by a review of existing uses of sentiment analysis in manufacturing research. Following that, numerous prospective areas for increasing the manufacturing industry’s sustainability level through the use of this strategy were suggested. By using the proposed methodology, the results show that it is suggest increasing social awareness of green products.
