Abstract
An optimization model for a multi-segment market based on quality function deployment is established to maximize customers' overall customer satisfaction. The weights of importance of market segments and development costs in the model are expressed as triangular fuzzy numbers in order to describe the imprecision caused by human subjective judgment. The solving approach for the fuzzy optimization model is suggested. A case study is given to illustrate the feasibility of the proposed method.
