Abstract
Machine Translation(MT) will be one of the most difficult issues to be addressed in 21st century.A rule-based English-Chinese machine translation method is presented in this paper.The simplification of Montague Grammar(MG)expressions is discussed and new combining and mapping rules are proposed.The algorithm is analyzed theoretically and real examples are presented to demonstrate its efficiency for MT.
