Abstract
This paper provides critical factors in evaluating environmental adverse impacts to be potentially generated due to the implementation of a construction plan. These environmental indicators are then used to set up two decision-making models, including a complicated model and a simplified model, for environmental priority evaluation in construction planning by using an analytic network process (ANP). An experimental case study is used to demonstrate the effectiveness of the two ANP models for evaluating potential adverse environmental impacts of alternative construction plans.
