Abstract
A simple wet-chemistry route for the fabrication of Ag-CNT nanostructures was developed on the basis of traditional silver mirror reaction. Silver nanostructures were formed on the surface of individual CNTs and its bundles, providing an efficient and simple wet chemistry way for the combination of silver and carbon nanotubes. The Ag-CNT product was analyzed using SEM, TEM, and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy. It was observed that the morphology of the Ag-CNTs products can be controlled by changing the condition in synthesis.
