Abstract
Drawing on social projection theory, we proposed and tested system-justifying ideology as a boundary condition that explains when psychological contract overfulfillment does not result in positive emotion through low prosociality attribution in individualized employment relationships. Data from exploratory interviews and a survey study provided preliminary support for the theory.
