Abstract
Experimental investigation on the air turbulence induced by a pool fire in an experimental chamber is reported. A "robot" installed with a hot-wire air anemometer is constructed for measuring turbulence intensity. Four ventilation conditions with three simulating natural ventilation and one simulating forced ventilation were set up. Temperature profiles and air speeds were also measured under those four ventilation conditions.
