Abstract

A simple two-parameter nonlinear bond stress-slip model is developed based on a new analytical approach. The used two parameters are the interfacial fracture energy and the interfacial ductility factor, which are mainly affected by the properties of adhesive layer. The effective bond length is defined based on the numerical solution on the interfacial bond differential equation.
