Abstract
In this paper, we propose a new algorithm, Waveband Routing with Layered Auxiliary Graph (WRLAG), to perform the inter-domain and intra-domain routing in multi-domain optical networks. We present the Layered Auxiliary Graph (LAG) that includes one virtual topology layer and multiple waveband-plane layers to compute a singlehop, or multi-hop or hybrid waveband route for each request based on the sub-path waveband grouping scheme. Simulation results show that, WRLAG can save more switching ports and obtain lower blocking probability.
