Abstract

We present a Mobile Multi-Agent Framework for developing self-governing network fault management system. The key concept of this framework is an agent-based fault diagnoses process in which agents fulfill tasks more efficiently such as Fault detection, Fault localization and Fault identification by taking full advantage of mobility and cooperation. As Agent-oriented software engineering is a new paradigm, we use SODA, an agent-oriented methodology, to guide the development of our framework. This paper first describes the process in detail, and then outlines essential concerns in framework analysis and design, finally introduces some future research directions.
