Abstract

The present invention discloses a calibration and reconstruction method of corneal topographer, wherein collecting images of reference spheres and a plurality of test spheres, obtaining a spherical image matrix, establishing a model of the relationship between the spherical radius, axial position and radial position of the pracido ring, as a calibration model, collecting the corneal image of the topographic map to be reconstructed, and reconstructing the corneal topographic map based on the calibration model. This method allows for accurate measurement of corneal topography without increasing the working distance or adding a distance sensor. The present invention may be applied to, for example, a hand-held corneal topographer for children, pediatric optometry/ophthalmology, and myopia research. Since there is no need for a distance sensor, it is cheaper and easier to manufacture. Spherical deviations in traditional 2D linear modeling can be minimized. With fewer parts, the device is lighter and can be used to make handheld corneal topographs. It can be measured in uncooperative patients with eyelid stenosis, especially in infants and children.
