Abstract
A Linear Switched Reluctance Motor (LSRM) based position tracking system and its control aspect are presented in this paper. Based on modeling analysis of the drive system, two reduced order controlled models are developed with different time scales, referred as mechanical subsystem and electrical subsystem. Two controllers are respectively designed for the two subsystems. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of this control scheme.
