Abstract

Recently, the demand for connecting small devices to the Internet has been greatly increasing. Most of the current implementation of the Internet protocol stack on such a small device is for general purpose. In this paper, we intend to build an Internet protocol stack for a specific purpose. A new implementation, namely Embedded Internet Telephony Protocol (eITP), is developed for a 8-bit microcontroller to connect to the Internet with the Internet Telephony functionality.
