A heating process controller by on-line trained neural network

Abstract

The performance of neural networks on control of a heating plant is investigated in this paper. Back-propagation algorithm is used to train the network and the effect of training parameters to network performance is also studied. The proposed control method is implemented for real-time control on a laboratory scale heater (PT326).
