Abstract
This paper describes a fast-scanning Kerr microscope which produces quantitative andrepeatable images with a scan rate of one frame/s. The rapid scan facility results in apractical system for routine examination of magnetic samples, whereas presently availablescanning and full-field systems are relatively slow.
