Abstract
Predicting noise levels from construction equipment is important, yet difficult, because ground and weather conditions interact with the sound in complex ways that cannot be simply modelled and calculated by hand. This paper describes the prediction mechanisms of ENM windows as well as issues in implementation which are also discussed. It is suggested that by using the program, construction companies can reduce the costs incurred due to unnecessary fines and ineffective prevention methods.
