Abstract
The demand for visual perception capabilities in computers is driving innovation in AI and robotics. A recent paper in Cell Reports Physical Science by Kumar and co-workers1 presents an optoelectronic memristor with functions of learning, memory, and motion detection, furthering the development of energy-efficient, high-performance neuromorphic vision systems.
