Abstract
This chapter provides the fundamental basis of Society 5.0 and its co-relationship with Industry 5.0, and further depicts the social implications among different sectors, techno-ethics aspects, and social acceptance with major implementations. The findings reveal that human centricity, digitalization in a human-cyber-physical manner, and sustainable development serve as the core of Society 5.0, aligning with the characteristics of Industry 5.0. Moreover, its ultimate goal is the construction of a holistic system driven by values rather than just technology.
