Abstract

In this paper, we experimentally demonstrated a 400 Gbps PAM-4 monolithic laser integrated silicon photonics CWDM4 transmitter for 400GE short reach applications. 4×106 Gbps (400GE) PAM-4 signal transmission over 2 km of SMF with BER lower than KP4-FEC threshold is achieved.
