Abstract

We propose a hybrid optical Hilbert receiver and Stokes vector receiver (OH-SVR) capable of phase and polarization diversity. We experimentally demonstrate single-wavelength direct detection at 1.6-Tb/s and 1.56-Tb/s line rates at BTB and after 10-km standard single-mode fiber transmission for data-center interconnects.
