Abstract
This study focused on mobile-assisted language learning in Korean as a Foreign Language(KFL). KFL environment faces to many difficulties, such as shorter class time, not enough practice, and less opportunities for exposure to Korean comparing to KSL(Korean as a Second Language) environment. Therefore, KFL teachers are required
to find a way to deal with these problems. This paper suggests a solution in MALL(Mobile-Assisted Language learning). MALL has the following specialties; first, learning can occur at any time and any place through mobile learning. Second, learners can have frequent exposure to Korean language through using mobile learning. Finally, accessing various learning applications or online resources are possible through mobile learning. To develop a teaching and learning method using MALL, chapter 2 of this study examines the definitions of MALL and previous research. Chapter 3 shows the process of developing teaching and learning Korean language using MALL. Chapter 4
shows a practical case using MALL in teaching and learning.
