Abstract
A bibliographic study of a rarely known work, Jiuyue ji, by the late Ming literati Song Maocheng (1573-1623), comparing its content from the copy in the Naikaku Bunko in Tokyo with the copy edited by Wang Liqu and published in Beijing in 1984. In addition to showing the titles of the pieces missing in the 1984 version, it calls attention to those essays and poems which might be useful for the study of political, social, and intellectual history of the late 16th and early 17th centuries.
